Hi, my name is Ben. I'm an information-technology-type guy who lives in Sydney, Australia. The main objective of this site is to showcase and distribute Prolog Server Pages - a web programming language. I occasionally provide consulting services for small and interesting projects. Projects that I've worked on include websites, designed databases, implemented a data-warehouse and programmed an XML-based web-form submission framework. InterestsI've got an interest in learning human languages. Currently I'm studying Chinese. My favorite languages so far are Chinese, AUSLAN and Hebrew -- if you can fluently speak these languages and live in inner Sydney, I'm always on the lookout for tutors. I've also collected here 8 memorable websites you probably haven't visited. I've written a little bit about travel, and plan to add more writings on various things that interest me. ProgrammingI've got a real interest in seeing Prolog and other logical and functional programming languages used in a commercial setting. I use Prolog in work and study where possible, and am interested to hear of other stories of Prolog in a commercial setting. Java is my preferred run-of-the-mill-style-programming-language, however that doesn't stop me from using other development languages, be it plain old assembly, the Microsoft DotNet family, scripting languages like R, JavaScript, Python or PHP, functional languages like Haskell, or anything in-between. FeedbackIf you have any questions or suggestions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
I can be reached by email or by a web-based email/SMS form. To return to the homepage, click here. |
